- Administer first doses of vaccinations to protect your baby against illness

Other doctor visits should follow this first visit, including a visit when your child is 2 weeks old, followed by visits at 1,2,4,6,9,15, 18 months, and 2 years. The newborn visits are replaced by well-child visits, which will continue as your child grows.
